Lymph node cancer: where and how to treat it?

Lymphoma is a malignant tumor of the lymph nodes arising from the cells of the immune system. Experts call the development of this tumor lymph node cancer. There are several types of cancer of the lymphatic system. The very concept in oncology "lymph node cancer" implies about 30 basic concepts, which are subdivided into subgroups.

Hodgkin's lymphoma is a tumor where 25-35% of lymphomas are infected. The disease is determined during diagnosis, where the presence of large Ridge-Berezovsky-Shtrenberg tissues in the lymph nodes is revealed. If the results are positive, then the lymphatic system is infected.

Non-Hodgkin's oncology is the rest of the group of malignant lymphomas (65-75%), where lymphadenopathy of the nodes occurs. The diagnosis is made only after a complete examination of the histological nature from samples of tumor cells and tissues. Their presence gives frequent complications to the body as a whole, including cancer of the cervical, submandibular, axillary lymph nodes (depending on the spread of oncology, symptoms in the first stages of lymph damage are not noticeable). The spread of infected cells occurs in all tissues.

How to identify malignant cancer of the lymph nodes?

Symptoms of the disease are varied. The main characteristics are:

Increased tumor of the lymph nodes in the neck and collarbone, less often cancer of the lymph nodes in the armpit, in the abdominal cavity and in the groin (among the symptoms: pain in the neck and armpits, a change in skin tone, fever is possible);

A significant increase in the tumor of cancer of the lymph node and mediastinum (symptoms: dry cough, swollen veins, visible venous networks in the sternum, shortness of breath, pain in the submandibular lymph nodes);

Lymphoma near the aorta (pain in the lower back, especially at night).

In some cases, cancer starts and spills over into a more acute form. Then, sweating, fever, heavy weight loss are added to the main symptoms of pathology in the lymph nodes in cancer.

Stages of lymphoma development

Depending on the spread of the disease, 4 stages are distinguished, in which the degree of damage is noted zones of lymph nodes and similar organs. Based on the tests carried out in the lymph node, the stage and oncological degree of the lesion is diagnosed.

Stage 1: the lymph nodes are affected in one area or organ;

Stage 2: the defeat of the lymph nodes from two or more zones on one side of the diaphragm or organ cancer (outside the lymphatic system);

Stage 3 oncology: complete infection with diaphragm lymph cancer with damage to the whole area of the lymph nodes, spleen or one organ outside the lymphatic system;

Stage 4: damage by cancer cells of the lymph nodes of several tissues of the organ or several outside the lymphatic system, or the diaphragm. Lymph nodes may not be affected, but are involved in the process of lymph pathology. It depends on the characteristics of the organism.

Upon detection of the last stage 4 degree of cancer of the lymphatic system, the oncological disease has developed completely, which indicates damage to the lymph nodes, bone tissues, liver, lungs, pancreas and brain. The prognosis of recovery at the last stage is disappointing.
